PSYC 112 - Careers in Psychology

Two lecture hours.

This course will provide students with an overview of the discipline of psychology, including expectations for the psychology major, career options for students completing a bachelor’s degree in psychology, career options for students who pursue a graduate degree in psychology, and academic preparation for a career in psychology. It will also emphasize the development of skills required for library research, writing in the style of the American Psychological Association, and understanding ethical and professional issues in the discipline of Psychology.

Prerequisite(s) PSYC 101 or PSYC 111 with grade of “C” or better.
