HIST 130 - Topics in World History (SB)


3 Credits
Three hours per week.

This course, an introduction to historical thinking, focuses on specific topics in World history, such as the history of war, disease, slavery, population migrations, trade and cross-cultural contact, urbanization, religion, culture, or politics throughout the world. Historical topics will be investigated deeply using primary and secondary sources to teach students to pose historical questions, to create narratives about the past, and to develop critical thinking and writing skills.
