HIST 315 - Contemporary Europe


3 Credits
Three hours per week.

This course examines the post-World War II history of Europe. The reconstruction of Europe will be studied, as will the development of the Cold War in Europe. Contemporary ethnic violence, decolonization, immigration, and the new cultural racism in Europe will also be examined, especially for the post 9/11 world. The future of the nation-state in the era of the European Union will be explored.
