BIOL 315 - Principles of Neuroscience


4 Credits
3 lecture hours. 3 lab hours.

This course introduces students to the foundations of neurophysiology, neuroanatomy, and systems neuroscience.  Use of training modules, lectures, discussion and laboratories will teach principles of synaptic transmission, and the organization and function of sensory, motor, and integrative systems.

Prerequisite(s) BIOL 105  and BIOL 106   or BIOL 109 and BIOL 110  or BIOL 111   and BIOL 112  , or Biology chairperson’s consent.  Students must complete each course with a grade of C or higher.
