GEOG 105 - Introduction to Weather and Climate

3 Credits
Three hours per week.

This course is designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the elements of weather and climate, their geographic patterns of variation, and environmental outcomes around the globe. In addition to nature’s processes such as solar radiation, atmospheric moisture, air pressure and circulation, and storm formation, the course emphasizes the human dimensions of global climate change where vulnerability, adaptation, and resilience to weather and climate extremes are examined using geospatial technologies like geographic information systems.
