HIST 341 - The History of American Movies

Three hours per week.

In this course, students watch films and learn to analyze their cultural meanings for American culture at the time moviegoers first saw them. In doing so, students will develop their skills at reading films, discussing and writing about them using additional primary and secondary sources. (Formerly HIST 425)
