ECON 222 - Principles of Microeconomics 3 Credits Three lecture hours.
The focus of this course is microeconomics. Topics covered include the theory of the firm, consumer theory, alternative market structures, public goods and distribution theory. As an Honors Program course, the course will go into more depth and cover more subject than Economics 212. A special emphasis will be placed on critical thinking and applying the concepts of the course to real world situations, including the implications of the content to social outcomes in an interdisciplinary fashion.
