HIST 334 - History of Maryland


3 Credits
3 hours per week.

This course will survey the history of Maryland from its settlement in 1634 to the present. Particular attention will be paid to the unique qualities of the state’s history including its significant African- American population, its religious history, and the importance of the Chesapeake Bay. Some emphasis will be placed on issues facing contemporary Maryland.
