INST 516 - The Politics of the Global Environment


Three hours.
3 Credits

The course focuses on the political dimensions of trans-boundary ecological problems. It examines contemporary political responses to global environ-mental challenges and facilitates creative formulations of data-based analysis of these challenges. In addition, the course examines how developments in the environment interact with political consideration to influence world politics. The course highlights such environmental challenges as global warming, ozone depletion and deforestation among other critical issues impacting the international community.
