ACSC 130 - Introduction to Actuarial Science

2 credits
2 hours per week.

This course is an introduction to Actuarial Science from the point of view of practicing life insurance, casualty insurance and interaction with existing in the actuarial science/insurance arena and approved as suitable by advising department faculty. Students will be advised by both department faculty and an experienced actuary and will be required to provide a technical report and recent findings orally.

Prerequisite(s) Must be senior standing to register.
