MGBU 212 - Professional Development (Honors Students Only)

This course is designed to develop and strengthen the competencies necessary to prepare students for leadership positions in their chosen fields. This course emphasizes skill building in business writing, preparing and delivering business presentations, social skills in informal settings, interviewing skills, working in teams, learning about and adapting to organizational cultures, and mentoring and networking. Leadership skills such as adaptability, self motivation, risk taking, time orientation, and adding value to the firm are also covered. (For Honors Students Only) (Formerly BUAD 212)

Prerequisite(s) ORBM 112 completed with a grade of “C” or higher and sophomore standing in the GSBM
