MLS 470 - Introduction to Molecular Diagnostics

This course is a three-week integrated lecture and laboratory course. The emphasis is on the understanding of the molecular methodologies that are employed in clinical applications which include diagnosis of infectious diseases, inherited disorders, cancers, prenatal, paternity and forensics testing. Prerequisite(s) MLS 300 and MLS 330 and MLS 335 and BIOL 405 completed with grades of “C” or higher. Program Director permission required for non-majors who wish to register.
