MUSC 320 - Lyric Diction II

2 hours per week.

This course will introduce students to the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) and the rules for usage. Students will practice drills, reading and IPA translation in French and German and apply these skills to French and German song and opera texts. This course is required for all voice majors.
