PHYS 300 - Modern Physics I 3 credits 3 lecture hours.
The topics studied include photoelectric effect, Bohr’s theory of the H atom, deBroglie waves and wave mechanics, electron spin, and Pauli exclusion principles.
Prerequisite(s) PHYS 206 , PHYS 206L and MATH 243 or MATH 340 completed with grades of “C” or higher Offered (FALL/SPRING AS NEEDED)
