PHYS 301 - Analytical Mechanics I 3 credits 3 lecture hours.
This is part one of an intermediate course including particle motion, the statics and dynamics of rigid bodies, motion under central forces, and vibratory motion. This course is recommended for students interested in Physics, Applied Mathematics, and Engineering.
Prerequisite(s) PHYS 206 , PHYS 206L and MATH 243 or MATH 340 completed with grades of “C” or higher Offered (FALL/SPRING)
