POSC 391 - Public Service/Legal Clinic Internship

5 credits
15 hours per week.

The objective of the internship is to provide the students with intern assignments in the state legislature; non-profit organizations; legal entities that serve persons in need of assistance and/or other governmental institutions and agencies to enable students to learn first hand government operations, the legal profession, and/or governmental operations. Students will gain the tools, insight, and experience necessary to make them better students, potential teachers of the political process, potential lawyers, and law students or future participants in government service.
