FACS 425 - Multicultural Perspectives of Families in the U.S. and Abroad


3 credits
This course explores families’ diverse cultural perspectives and experiences, both within the United States and worldwide.  Through an interdisciplinary approach, students will examine the impact of culture, ethnicity, and globalization on family dynamics, values, roles, and structures, practices, and challenges.

Prerequisite(s) FACS 231  and FACS 355  with a grade of “C” or higher
Co-Requisite(s) If the prerequisites have not been taken previously, they must be taken as corequisites:  FACS 231  and FACS 355
