ITAL 320 - Mediterranean Crossroads: Migration and Italophone Literature and Cinema in Italy and the Mediterranean 3 credits This seminar will explore the emergent body of literary texts that involve a wide variety of authors that originated from various geographical areas (such Africa and the Middle East) who all share a common feature: they write in Italian. Topics explored will include migration, colonialism, satire and humor, gender, politics, and questions pertaining to racial and national identity.
Prerequisite(s) ITAL 204 completed with a grade of “C” or higher Offered (AS NEEDED)
