AAAD 398 - Seminar in Great Texts in African American and African Diaspora Studies I

The course explores the significance of contemporary issues of race and racism, education, politics, spirituality, social movements, and feminism and womanism on Black and African descendants worldwide, and explores how Africana Studies responds to them. The course is cross-listed with GENL 398 and satisfies the CLA Liberal Arts Core requirement for undergraduate graduation and is an elective for the AAAD minor.
