SOCI 320 - Sociology of Technology and AI

3 credits
This course gives an overview of human societies and their use of technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) from a sociological perspective. This course covers the sociology of science, classical sociological theories of technology, social construction of technology, the politics of technology and the social, ecological, economic, political and ethical elements of AI.
