COSC 410 - Quantum Cryptography 3 credits This course focuses on the field of quantum communications and quantum cryptography. A review of digital communications, computer networks and classical cryptography is provided in order to ensure a successful initial condition. The topics covered involve concepts necessary for implementing quantum communications systems including encryption, key distribution protocols, and post-quantum cryptographic techniques. Projects are designed to allow students to apply and test QKD protocols.
Prerequisite(s) COSC 315 and COSC 323 completed with grades of “C” or higher Offered (FALL or SPRING)
