BMED 511 - Gross Anatomy

3 Credits

The course provides a comprehensive review of the human anatomy and demonstration of the anatomical structures of the human body, including musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, neuronal, lymphatic, digestive, and urinary systems. Emphasis is placed on structural relationships and functional correlations. Learning is facilitated through group study of anatomical dissections as well as state-of-the-art learning platforms and software (e.g. BodyVis) which support engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
