ACSC 433 - Problem Solving Techniques and Applications in Probability 2 Credits two lecture hours.
The purposeof this course is to teach techniques for problem solving in probability theory, which are relevant to the acutarial sciences. Materials form MATH 331, MATH 337, MATH 431 as well as past Actuarial Exam 1/P exams will be reviewed. These materials will be used to help students acquire a better understanding of what is required of them in the business and actuarial profession. This course is open to all students and highly recommended for all Actuarial Science majors and Mathematics majors with an Actuarial Science minor.
