ART 308 - The Visual Arts

Three hours per week.

The development of the student’s capacity to respond to the visual arts with greater insight and/or intensity of emotion is a primary goal of this course. Student will analyze artists, the creative process and works of art as these components of art relate to the culture and the student’s experience.

Prerequisite(s) This course may not be used concurrently to satisfy the Humanities Elective Requirement and the Elementary Education Requirement.
