CHEM 206 - Organic Chemistry II (Honors)

Three lecture hours.

This is a continuation of CHEM 205 and is for honor students only. Topics include properties, synthesis, and reactions of alcohols, ethers, carbonyl compounds, amines, and sugars. The laboratory covers synthesis, spectroscopy, and the identification of unknowns. Prerequisite courses listed must be completed with a grade of C or better in order to take the indicated course. It is expected that all prior prerequisite courses to the ones listed have also been satisfied with a grade of C or better.

Prerequisite(s) CHEM 205/CHEM 205L AND all prior prerequisites for these courses.
