PHEC 490 - Lifeguarding Today

Two hours per week.

This course is designed for those desiring further skill and teaching knowledge of life saving and water safety methods. It stresses endurance, superior breath control, water agility and the ability to cope successfully with a variety of aquatic rescue situations. Successful completion of the course qualifies the student for the Lifeguarding Certificate.

Co-Requisite(s) HLTH 316.
