PHYS 111 - Introduction to Physics

4 Credits
six hours per week.

This is a one-semester course exploring concepts in mechanics, heat, sound, optics electricity, magnetism, atomic and nuclear physics for honor students. Several of the laboratories will be computer based. Students will use the web to research many physics topics. Recommended for non-science majors to fulfill general education (BP) requirement. Students may not receive credit for both PHYS 101  and PHYS 111.
