PHYS 408 - Introduction to Quantum Mechanics

3 Credits
Three lecture hours.

This course covers the basic principles of quantum mechanics. Problems in one-dimensional motion, the hydrogen atom and molecule, and perturbation theory are studied.

Prerequisite(s) PHYS 305  and PHYS 300  and MATH 340 .  Students must pass each class with a grade of C or better.
