The major in Management and Business Administration requires 27 credits beyond the General Education and Earl G. Graves School of Business & Management requirements. The 12 credits of required Management and Business Administration courses are: MGBU 362 , MGBU 456 ,MGBU 382 , and ENTR 350 .
Students can choose 9 credits of electives from among the following: Any MGBU course (300-499 level) not required or already taken or any GSBM course (300-499 level) not required or already taken. The 3 credit GSBM elective must be a 300-499 level course not required or already taken but within the School of Business and Management.
**Effective Fall 2022, if a student is pursuing a Business Administration major or minor under an older catalog, but needs a course not offered to advance towards their degree, the following substitutions may be made:
- If a student needs BUAD 361, the student may substitute MGMT 355
- If a student needs BUAD 371, the student may substitute MGMT 375
- If a student needs an elective, the student may substitute any of the electives listed under the Major in Management and Business Administration
Requirements for the B.S. Degree in Management and Business Administration
A minimum of 120 credit hours are required to graduate with a B.S. in Management and Business Administration. These credit hours are distributed as follows;
General Education and University Requirements 42 credits
Business Core and Supporting Courses 48 credits
Required Courses for the Management and Business Administration Major 30 credits
Total Credits 120 credits
All Supporting, Business Core, and Major Required Courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher.
