The Human Resource Management major offers a Human Resource Management focus. In addition to the General Education and the School of Business and Management requirements, students are required to take 27 credits. The 12 credits of required courses are HRMG 329 , HRMG 330 , HRMG 421 and HRMG 425 . Students can choose 9 credits of electives from among the following: ENTR 351 , ENTR 452 , MGBU 456 , MGBU 486 , HRMG 420 , HRMG 465 , and one 300-400 level course in Marketing. The 3 credit GSBM elective must be a 300-400 level course selected from outside the student’s major, but within the School of Business and Management.
Requirements for the B.S. in Human Resource Management
A minimum of 120 credit hours are required to graduate with a B.S. in Human Resource Management. These credit hours are distributed as follows:
General Education and University Requirements 42 credits
Business Core and Supporting Courses 48 credits
Required Courses for the Human Resource Management Major 30 credits
Total Credits 120
All Supporting, Business Core, and Major Required Courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher.
