Legal Studies Minor

The Minor in Legal Studies is an interdisciplinary program offered jointly by a number of departments in the College of Liberal Arts.  The purpose of the course work composing the minor is to expose students to a variety of disciplinary approaches to law, including philosophical, historical, sociological, and political in preparation for a potential law-related career.  Skill-based courses in critical thinking and reading great books offer students preparation for both the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) and law school.  Students minoring in Legal Studies must complete one (1) course from each of the six (6) component categories with a grade of C or higher.
