Hospitality Management Curriculum Sequence


Suggested Curriculum Sequence


This curriculum guide is a tool for planning.  Matriculated students and advisors should consult Degree Works before and after registration for classes each semester to track academic progress.

All Supporting, Business Core, and Major Required Courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher.

First Year (Semester One): 17 Credits


First Year (Semester Two): 16 Credits


Second Year (Semester One): 15 Credits


Second Year (Semester Two): 15 Credits


Fourth Year (Semester One): 15 Credits


Fourth Year (Semester Two): 12 Credits


Total Credit Hours: 120


*denotes a department required supporting/major course which may fulfill a general elective and must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher

1  Students must take one of the following course to fulfill the CT requirement:  PHIL 109 ARCH 105 COMM 300 MHTC 340  

2 For Hospitality Majors: Six (6) credits must be chosen from the following:  MGBU 361, MGBU 486, ENTR 351, HOMG 483, HOMG 485, HOMG 486, HRMG  329, HRMG 420, MKTG 338, foreign language sequence 100-499

3 GSBM Elective: Any GSBM course (300-499) not required or already taken

4  Free Elective: Any three (3) credit course that is not a general education, core, or major requirement
