Interdisciplinary Organizational Administration, B.S.

The Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Organizational Administration (INOA) provides students currently working in government, non-profits, small business, corporate, education, hospitality, or project management.  Students who have taken courses in business, communication, leadership, human resources, or project management can transfer up to 90 credits and earn credit for prior learning with approval.  Graduates of the program will use interdisciplinary approaches to solve organizational challenges with human behavior, conflict management, and leadership in a variety of fields such as the public sector, non-profits, business/corporate, education and healthcare administration.

Every interdisciplinary degree program in the College of Interdisciplinary and Continuing Studies (CICS) supports these broad educational learning goals:

Interdisciplinary Organizational Administration Degree Learning Outcomes

By the end of this degree program, all students will be able to: 

• Apply interdisciplinary knowledge to address complex organizational challenges and opportunities.

• Develop strategic planning and decision-making skills for organizational growth and sustainability.

• Analyze the influence of external factors on organizational performance and adapt strategies accordingly.

• Understand and apply principles of effective leadership, management, and organizational behavior.

 

Requirements for the B.S. degree in Interdisciplinary Organizational Administration

Every CICS student is required to complete a minimum of 120 credit hours to graduate. You may transfer up to 90 credits. The 120 credit hours includes 42 credits for General Education and University Requirements, 66 credits in your subject area, and 12 credits for the CICS capstone course.  

These credit hours are distributed as follows:
