COSC 558 - Advanced Network Security

This course provides an in-depth, hands-on coverage of the recent developments in the various aspects of securing computer networks and cloud environments, including vulnerability detection, threat mitigation, as well as methods for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. Coverage extends to the modern processes for authenticating users and apps, authorizing access to resources, encrypting data in transit and at rest, and implementing countermeasures to protect network and cloud resources against intrusions, malicious users, vulnerable software and malicious software.
