COSC 672 - Reinforcement Learning

Reinforcement learning methodologies are critical to the sector of artificial intelligence requiring autonomous systems capable of making independent decisions. Deep learning environments relevant to robotics, game playing, and intelligent vehicles can be phrased in the context of reinforcement learning. This class will provide a thorough treatment of the theory behind reinforcement learning and, additionally, will survey recent developments in deep reinforcement learning research. Lecture materials will be supplemented with coding and research projects designed to explore reinforcement learning applications. (Should have knowledge of COSC 472 Introduction to Machine Learning)
