SPAN 500 - Topics in Hispanophone Culture

This topics course examines literary texts and/or films within the social structures of Hispanophone society. The focus of the course varies from year to year. The course will normally be cross-listed with an advanced undergraduate course and in some instances will be taught in English. Emphasis will be placed on making transdisciplinary connections as well as on increasing cultural competence through the study of literature and/or film.
