This advanced qualitative course builds on ASLP 712: Qualitative Research Methods I, focusing on deepening the understanding of major and emerging theoretical paradigms, as well as the various methods involved in conducting qualitative research, including sampling, data collection, data analysis, and the presentation of findings. This course emphasizes qualitative research through a critical qualitative lens, as well as considering how qualitative research can be used for social justice applications, advocacy, and change.
