This is the first part of a two course sequence designed to provide students with the analytical and problem solving skills needed as a foundation to enter into Calculus I (MATH 241), Introduction to Probability (MATH 120), and/or Finite Mathematics (MATH 118). Math concepts at the pre-calculus level (MATH 141) are accompanied by a contemporary engineering problem lab. MATH 141 is considered to be the equivalent to the two semester sequence of MATH 113 and MATH 114.
