CHEM 414 - Instrumental Methods of Analysis 4 Credits Three lecture hours. Six lab hours.
This course is a rigorous study of the theory and practice of instruments used in analytical chemistry for the determination of the chemical composition of matter in a sample using atomic and molecular spectrometry, electrochemical and chromatographic methods. Prerequisite coursese listed must be completed with a grade of C or better in order to take the indicated course. It is expected that all prior prerequisite courses to the ones listed have also been satisfied with a grade of C or better.
Prerequisite(s) CHEM 204 and CHEM 204L and CHEM 207 and CHEM 308 and CHEM 308L and PHYS 206 and PHYS 206L AND all prerequisites for these courses. Students must pass each course with a grade of C or better. Offered (FALL)
