Program Description
The Certificate Program in Museum Studies and Historical Preservation affords access to the benefits of the Museum Studies education to current Morgan graduate students in other fields, non-degree seeking students, and working professionals in the field.  Certificates are available in Art History, and Public History (applications are not being accepted at this time for the Cultural Non-Profit Management certificate).
Program Course Requirements
This certificate program requires students to complete 18 credit hours.  Of these, 6 credits are devoted to core courses, 6 to concentration courses, and the remaining 6 to elective courses.  All courses meet in-person, on campus. The courses required are as follows:
