HIST 350 - Introduction to the African Diaspora (CI)

Three hours per week.

This course traces the scattering of the peoples of African ancestry across their continental homeland, their subsequent dispersion around the world to Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas, and the return to Africa. It places emphasis on resistance movements, slavery and emancipation, and current diasporic developments.

Prerequisite(s) successful completion of 36 college credits.
