CHEM 304 - Biochemistry

This course is designed to meet the needs of Chemistry and Biology students and students in related pre-professional fields. Its scope includes a study of the fundamental chemical processes of living matter, emphasizing the structure, biosynthesis and metabolism of carbohydrates, enzymes, nucleic acids and lipids. Prerequisite courses listed must be completed with a grade of C or better in order to take the indicated course. It is expected that all prior prerequisite courses to the ones listed have also been satisfied with a grade of C or better.

Prerequisite(s) CHEM 204 and CHEM 204L and BIOL 109 or BIOL 105 or BIOL 111, AND all prior prerequisites for these courses completed with grades of “C” or higher
