FREN 413 - Francophone African Society Through Film and Literature

This course is an introduction to the history, culture, and politics of Francophone Africa through film and literature from the colonial period to the era of post-independence. This course is taught in English.

Prerequisite(s) FREN 204 , or four or more levels of French in high school. When this course is cross-listed as a LACS course, there will be no pre- requisite and this course will be taught in English, with the readings and assignments in French for students earning French credit.
