PHEC 311 - Therapeutic Modalities

3 Credits
4 hours per week.

This course emphasizes the use and knowledge of various therapeutic modalities used in athletic training and physical therapy. It also stresses the theory (physiological effects and therapeutic values) and working knowledge of each modality, as well as its practical application. Various massage techniques and alternative health care will also be addressed.
