PHYS 409 - Experimental Physics 3 Credits 2 lecture hours. 4 lab hours.
In this course students study the basics of instrumentation for physics research and reproduce some of the critical experiments that established special relativity, atomic structure, and the structure and properties of condensed matter.
Prerequisite(s) PHYS 300 completed with a grade of “C” or higher or Departmental permission is required to register. Offered (AS NEEDED)
