HLTH 302 - Discovering Environmental Health II 4 Credits 3 lecture hours. 2 lab hours.
This course is an introduction to the basic principles of environmental chemistry and toxicology. The goal of this course is to have students develop an appreciation and understanding of the physical, chemical, and biological dynamics of environmental agents that impact public health. An emphasis on contemporary problems in human health and the environment will be made, such as the growing numbers of emergent contaminants.
