CLCO 471 - Data Analytics in Cloud

This course provides students an overview of the world of Big Data applications, open source Cloud Operating System (OpenStack), the Apache Hadoop Ecosystem, the MapReduce programming model, Spark framework and programming, and application for bioinformatics, machine learning and business such as marketing, analytics, retail, hospitality, consumer good, and defense. The key objective of this course is to familiarize the students with Cloud Computing Applications used in Manipulating, Storing, and Analyzing Big Data.

Prerequisite(s) CLCO 261 completed with a grade of “C” or higher
