ENTR 488 - Intellectual Property Protection

This course provides students with the opportunity to examine various types of intellectual property (i.e., patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, tech transfer, and licensing) and learn how to protect, manage, and acquire intellectual property as vital assets of a firm. Students will develop an intellectual property protection plan for a firm, identify an undeveloped intellectual property protection plan for a firm, identify an undeveloped intellectual property, and create a plan to acquire and develop an intellectual property.
