CEGR 456 - Earth Structures and Slopes

3 lecture hours.

Earth dams, embankments and natural slopes. Site investigation, soil properties and compaction. Slope stability analysis and landslide prevention. Earthquake effects. Case studies.

Prerequisite(s) CEGR 325   completed with a grade of “C” or higher
