COSC 343 - Microprocessor Systems and Applications


3 credits
3 lecture hours.

A comprehensive study of the components of microcomputer systems and their peripheral devices, features, and trends in the operating systems which govern their operation, including a survey of the application software available for such systems. This course is designed to include hands-on experience on several commercially popular microcomputers and the software packages which run on them.

Prerequisite(s) COSC 243  completed with a grade of “C” or higher
